A lot of the early HD receiver have this problem as a result of a software update on Dec 11. The update # is 5085. This is happening on SOME receivers mfg by Hugles ( Hughes, Mits Tos and others ) NOTHING can be done at this time to solve it. Again, nothing is wrong with your receiver, it is the software update done by Directv. Directv is aware of the problem and they are working on a another update to solve the problem.
My advice is to contact the mfg of your receiver for advice...some mfg's are replacing the units.
