DTC 100 receiving channels 509 and 199 in HDTV. Is anyone getting HDTV for any network broadcasts via DSS?;)

That's it.....2 channels on DTV.
You get the rest of them Over The Air (OTA).
Put up a good set of rabbit ears, and tune to the digital channels in your area.

Thanks, but I am so remote that they don't make a tower tall enough. The locals that I receive OTA are not going to give up their vacume tubes yet. They think the transistor is just a fad. Heck, they don't even provide stereo. ;)

That's too bad........the OTA HD stuff is the best.
It's the best picture quality, and the Dolby 5.1 is great.
For me, the two channels on the bird are a "bonus".

Hey COOL AIDS we all get the picture on what (ota) means. Please do not spell it out for us. And yes there are only 2 HD channels. I here dish has 1 HD showtime.

509 no longer gives me the hd sign on my reciever, is it still being broadcast in Hi-Def?

Do you think that every single person that comes here, knows what Over The Air (OTA) is?
Most retail stores that sell HD ready TV's, don't know what Over The Air (OTA) is.
