although bev has lots of money to throw around, I don't really think they have the man power to drive up and down every street in Canada to check "keys"...(what a load of crock)
Besides, hacking bev is illegal in Canada, subscribe and be done with it...
I've been in retail for a long time... if a dealer (or this guy) tells you not to buy one item but get another, its probably because HE doesn't sell the one he's telling you not to buy.
If you want fairly uninteruppted service, subscribe to bev,, if you wants to take your chances and have some fun, get "rca"..
BEV is bigger than SC, programming varies slightly in what they have to offer, subscription pricing about the same...
REMEMBER - hacking your country's satellite signal is ILLEGAL!!!
Best advice, subscribe....

cobra,
I'm really not sure what it is that you are asking and the reason for your poll. If you are asking about the dish and LNB's themselves, then ExpressVu, Dish and DirecTV are all interchangeable and really no different other than they might not look identical. Star Choice uses a different technology. Or are you asking about the programming/equipment differences between the four companies?
If you are asking about hacking ExpressVu and you live in Canada; the answer is that if you are caught, you will be charged with theft.

I thought i clearly said that if someone was to hack Exvu (or bell) from the United States would they get in trouble if the authorities knew? Anything to do with the DMCA? (DMCA = Digital Millenium Copyright Act)

We don't discuss those subjects here. You will have to find that information somewhere else.
