starchoice dish and lnb on bev receiver

does a starchoice dish and lnb will work on a bev receiver if I align
the dish on the bev bird ?

No it won't . You could put a DTV LNB on the SC dish and it should work if it is a rectangular fit and a D tube fit would work for Bell and DISH LNB's . By fit...I mean where the LNB fits into the extended " arm " for lack of better words . I have gotten them to work with 30 inch SC dishes...Im not sure about smaller sizes of SC . I believe it depends on the length of the arm from the dish to LNB . You might want to ask the question in the Installer Forum .

You can also use the 36" dish with the neck holder type but you need to modify your LNB a bit....take the plastic cover off....cut the neck off the plastic covering and put LNB back together....make sure you silicone around the place where you cut off....works like a hot damn....was getteing 70's with 30" dish now get 90% signal strength
