i have the rca hd tv with the built in recv where can i buy just the hd dish

I suggest that you just install a second dual LNB dish and point it at the other satellite. You will still need the special multiswitch (combiner) which can be purchased on in the classifieds or on ebay.

The signal strength is very weak on the second satellite when using the single oval dish it is sensitve to rain fade etc.

As I mentioned, you use (2) dual LNBs (4 coax leads) into the multiswitch.

Most of the special multiswitches are referred to as 4x4 or 5x4 which means they have either 4 or 5 inputs and 4 outputs. The 5th input is for an over the air (OTA) antenna if you use one.

i agree with john s that is if you do not need the 'para todos' channels, 400 and up. also with oval dish signals are not as strong as two dish. also oval dish may cost you up to 150usd.
