A chap with an email addy princelh@sympatico.ca has a Hughes E86 for sale - believe he's asking $800-900 with the HU card. Advertised in one of the newsgroups yesterday.
BTW, after reading posts in this group, you'd better check the unit for the 'guide loss' problem - if it's a newer unit, the problem should have been fixed. Maybe someone knows which serial numbers are good, which are to be avoided.
Bottom line is, if the IRD has the 5085 update, check to see if you can view the program guide for DTV channels BEFORE you pay for it. Escrow is the way to go here.

Are you looking for a Desk Top Box (converter), or a TV that is HDTV ready to go?
I have a Tosiba HDTV READY, w/ the DeskTopBox. My understanding is that SONY, is different from TOSHIBA, RCA ect.
The Toshiba set works GREAT.
I also have a new (in the box) Toshiba box for sale.
I know it didn't answer the question directly, but I hope it helps.
