Ever think of going to the electronics store, and seeing if they have a Sam's Fotofacts?

Or try the manufacurer.

dodgethis1, I just had to change the vga plug on my Acer monitor.
I tried the solder type connectors first, what a pain in the ass.
I have made my own emulators, dpbb, and even an unlooper, but those solder joints were impossible. Use the crimp type connectors; I got mine at Newark electronics. They are still a pain in the but (real small wires) but they were a lot easier than the solder type. I guess if you have a real powerful magnifying glass and a lot of clamps you can make the joints good, but with the naked eye and just two hands, good luck.
PS: If you can find a place to buy the whole cable, all you will have to do is take the case apart and plug the new cable in to the board. Acer however does not sell or distribute parts they don't consider "user serviceable"
