Obviously I don't want my girl to see all the sick stuff I look at. So how do I get rid of the stuff under the white bar in internet explorer? Also, media player stores a list of the past couple of things you've opened. I erase my temporary internet files, delete the cookies under windows and erase the history, but in internet explorer on the hyperlink bar, if you click the down arrow it shows all the smut sites I've been to. Whats the best way to smut surf without leaving a trail?

Sounds like you need a dedicated PC of your own. Or you can just tell her, you are not visually dead yet.
Plus, is it better that you watch, or is is better if you were to touch?
Maybe she might be erasing her cookies too...ever think about that?

Look, when my girl looks like salma hayek or Jenna Jameson or some hot 18 year old brazillian chick, then we'll talk. And when I look like Tom Selleck, she can stop too!

I thought that was under the "History" option in explorer. Change all of those type options to 0. Or get TweakUI or something like that and change the option to clear on reboot.

Download tweak ui from here.

Create a new folder and unzip to the new folder. Right click on tweakui.inf to install. After install go to control panel and you will see it. Click the paranoia tab and check all the boxes. Also on the IE tab check the clear document run, typed url history.

Women are like buses, stand on the street corner and another will come by in a few minutes but a good computer is hard to find.

I used to worry about my wife finding the pictures I was looking at. Then I found out she was looking at some pictures that made mine look very mild. Hey, maybe your girlfriend is looking at some sick sh!t and she doesn't want you to find out.

You can run another browser such as opera and delete any desktop reference to it, also install the program into a custom obscured named folder deep within your windows system folder. Nobody snoops around in there and if they do you throw them a curve by burying it deep within sub folders whose names look like normal windows system names. Make sure you start menu has all references to it removed. When you get through using the computer make sure you clear the task bars document recent files list by clicking on the task bar, right click, select advance and then check the clear box. If you store files then you might consider encrypting them with pgp or simply archiving them with winzip and have the zip files password protected.
Not that I've ever done this, I was just thinkin you know.
This may help keep you safe from snooping by your average user. Only attempt to hide activity on a personal computor. Never attempt to hide any activity at work on the company's networked computer because you can't hide squat. You might get away with it at work if nobody's looking, but if they are, you are a goner. I've been amazed at the stupid things I've seen people attempt to do with their work computer. I'm sure others have seen this as well.

Go to Tools...internet "ooptions"(options), and then clear the history and all the temp internet files. Once this is done, then go to 'windows explorer' and then go to the temp internet files and then delete all the cookies. Hope this helps...i have a jealous wife to...;) ...let her watch 596 or 597 while you "burp the worm"...maybe this'll loosen her up..it's worked a time or two for my girl... :K

Don't forget, you can also clear your "Documents" tab on the start menu as well as websites and programs you've recently viewed by clicking START --> SETTINGS --> TASKBAR & START MENU... --> ADVANCED (tab) --> CLEAR.
That's the easiest way I know. GL.

Go to Kazaa (file sharing program) and search for a piece of software called Windows Washer, it will clean your hard drive so the FBI couldn't find out what you were looking at.
But remember, if you clean that stuff out so goes anything else you might need to look back up again in the future. If you need to remember where something was, add to favorites. I like to name my favorites folders things my wife will never look at, hockey schedule, home repair sites etc..., NOT PORN.
