Can LNB be fixed

Some people I know have been told that there lnb is shot
can LNB's be fixed and if so where would they take it.

I just bought a dual LNB for 30 bucks. I would just go to Buy & Sell and ask for one. I know members have some, I have seen them posted for sale before.
