Some of my fondest TV memories were when I was about 12 and "Spenser for Hire" was big. There was just something about Spenser that was too cool for words. Robert Urich died yesterday for those that didn't know, and I for one will truly miss his work... Sad day.

One of his feature films is a favorite of mine. Turk 182!

It wasn't the greatest movie ever, but for some reason I enjoyed it. Maybe because I am from NY.

And you had to love Spencer for Hire & Vega$.

Also, he is a rare actor who was successful in multiple TV series. And even rarer that you never saw him on the news doing anything stupid like most of these clowns.

He will be missed, later,

I was just a kid then, but I remember SWAT. Me and some friends used to play SWAT in the street.

We loved that show, only lasted 1 or 2 seasons I think.

He was also on SOAP for a season, I think the first one.

Remember S.W.A.T.

Yes I do. I liked that show, and it's too bad they only made 34 episodes.

You know, I have a brother named Robert and if you think about it, is there anybody named Robert that you know that wasnt a great guy?? He was so nice, he didnt seem to have that "BIG HEAD" so many Hollywood stars have. A truly good person.
