a game that used to be hosted on AOL called Never Winter Nights? It was aroung the AOL1.2-2.0 timeframe. I was just going through some old books and found a manual for the game... I have to think it was one of the first massively multiplayer online games. I remember sometimes like 15K people on at a time....
Man did I waste a ton of money on that....I think in those days we were paying $29.95 for 20 hours of AOL and then $2.99 per hour after that.... I think one month I must have had $700-$800 dollar AOL bill... Anyway..just being nostalgic...

I loved that game. I was on all of the time. There were some nights that I didn't leave. Remember that area where the lich dragons would spawn? Usually a line of 10-15 people waited around that area to get into the fight. :)

All the time....People always waiting to get experience.... Worst was getting put in the little prison for breaking the rules, or cheating... Always had to talk your way out, sort of like the reading club here....
