1st.
If the reception and decoding of any foreign signals is now illegal in Canada, would that include government agencies such as CSIS in decoding friendly & enemy transmitions that do not originate in Canada. I would imagine that this would include radio and tv transmitions.
2nd.
If we were to challange and win a charter violation suit based on Canadians right to view non-Canadian based transmitions. Would that not then open the door for DTV and Dish to open up shop in Canada as the CRTC would then be in violation of the charter to refuse a licence based on content.
