I haven't thought this out but because time is limited but how about a boycott of Canadian products by their friends in the USA?

A lot of people in the USA supported the Free Trade Agreement, a lot didn't. Now we have the government of Canada trying to say buying an Amercan produst is illegal even if they are willing to pay for it.

That's Free Trade?

What would the reaction of the Government of Canada be if in protecting the Film Industry and the pockets of Bell & Starchoice Americans reciprocated by boycotting Canadian products south of the border???????

One thing they seem to understand is the almighty dollar, why not make them pay a price for making a USA product illegal?

USA TV is superior, Canada beer is superior. Wanna trade? LOL

Suggestions? Comments? Other Ideas?

Also consider that the Canadian film industry is largely bankrolled by US productions.

If my memory serves me, the US unions are now arguing that American workers should be paid American rates wherever they actually work. This may result in Canada losing it's competitive advantage due to a dwindling dollar.

Without the US$, Canada doesn't have a film industry to protect.

Free trade? That's a good one. I love it!

I don't think that all the issues relating to what they've ruled have even surfaced yet. This could get Real interesting...
