I have just emailed Macleans magazine asking why they never devoted any space to the supreme court ruling.....

If all members keep requesting their local papers, national papers, radio stations and news magazines carry more coverage of this issue because of the impact to the basic rights of Canadians more people will know what Bell and the government is doing....

Alot of people who don't have DSS have no idea about what is happening....

They need to know that if they don't speak up that they may one day be breaking the law by listening to a U.S. radio station or something similar....

So all members need to get the word out....public opinion will be on our side.....

Hi pony,

You are 100% right sir and we need the Canadian public to know what is going on. So any media people can write to about this will add to our credibility and will in all likelihood make other Canadians furious to know about the CENSORSHIP that is taking place.

There is also a well written letter by one of our fellow members that I posted on legal-rights along with the E-mail address of all politicians in Canada. They need to know too including liberal back-benchers who are just yes men and prolly do not know what is happening. See the letter here:

I've written and sent out some letters, and I am getting response back that are all over the board. Some "pawning" it off on others (can we say Hello Jean, sure forward this to Sheila Copps, since when did she ever give a damn about what Canadians had to say before, so why should she now.....) to another reply that was exceptionally positive. Unfortunately he isn't an elected MP anymore, but has said that he will be bringing this to his parties attention.

For any party that is not liberal, if they send a positive response back, I am pointing out that this is something that our current gov't has no problem trying to hide from canadians. This is something that they can bring to the media and Canadians attention, but don't do this until you have heard positive results back from them as it could hurt more than help if your not careful.




Get as many people as you possibly can to send letters in to anyone and everyone that they can think of. Also remember to donate to the supreme court battle, and hey throw a link to legal rights in your signature here too. The more exposure the better we do!
