I'm pretty sure you can subscribe legally to these systems in the US. As mentioned in a thread here by GS2, only Canada and Cuba bar foreign broadcasting. Hacking the systems within the US I believe is illegal, here is a link to the US law that is fairly broad that prohibits hacking of any system, be it lawful distributor or not.

Although, I do remember a debate here a while back about this and the consensus was that nobody is sure if you can hack Canadian satellites within the US legally.

However, the main point as TTRK has been saying is the legal reception of signals (ie. subscribing to foreign services), and that is clearly legal to do within the US and even within China, Russia, or even Iraq. However, not within Canada.

www.kusat.com will set up people south of the border aswell if you by a system from them. Not sure if "they" do it or if they get someone else to do it for them.

Hi Guys,

No links are disallowed to sites that sell DSS or Echo equipment but links that illustrate a point like these ones are OK. If anyone complains in the legal -rights posts just say To The REAL King!! approved it. But please just use good taste and judgement in the choice of links.

Just so everyone knows I have sent Mr. Wagman, our Ontario lawyer some 7 reverse grey market sites because he is interested in finding a way to present this against BEV in court. GS2 also sent him others and we are doing everything possible to try to show up that these guys do this and that they benefit KNOWINGLY from Canadian grey marketing too. For instance DTV has cancelled DirecTV® dealers who operate in Canada (so they stop paying commissions) but have NOT turned off a single one of their customers because they pay with a Canadian credit card. So if they shut down the dealer, why do they NOT shut down the clients.

This will come out in court showing that they lied to the Supreme court in what their affidavits said. But for some strange reason they did NOT allow us to cross examine them on their lying affidavits.

Hum, I wonder why? We have been treated very unfairly by this court and it is now obvious as to WHY.

This time we are going to plead our cases in both the courts AND the PUBLIC newspapers and they wont get away with keeping the public misinformed of what is happening. This should make a difference.
