I was wondering...
XM Satellite radio is illegal to have a subscription in Canada. If a US resident had an XM Satellite Radio in their car and then drove over the border into Canada, does the recent Supreme court ruling (as written) mean they are breaking the law because they are decoding a foreign signal in Canada? Or does the ruling only apply to Satellite TV signals?
On a similar note, what if a US mobile home equipped with DirecTV were to cross the border and receive a subbed signal? Does this law only apply to Canadians who live in Canada?
Just a thought...
