My father fought in 2 world wars for freedom against Nazism and Communism. Do we live in Cuba or China ? I think not, I know for a fact there are 4 RCMP officers that were watching DTV up till today,In our town, not sure if they are now lol, but this sure the hell isnt going to stop me or my freinds here in Northern B.C from watching DTV and we number well over 300. This fight is far from over My father would roll over in his grave if he know this is what he offered his life for. One proud Canadian here, Oh by the way my dad served in the US 8th Cavalry in the first world war, and after the war moved to Canada and ended up in the second world war in a Canadian uniform. If there was a war to fight he was there, this battle is a long way from over And I can only hope I am half the man my dad was. Screw the CTRC and the Supreme Court, This is a free country, and to read some posts here at this site saying its over, were F---k-- were dead, really pissess me off if you wanna give up that easy, you werened in the game in the first place. that's a very good post, cnrailer! I think you should rewrite that in a letter to the supreme court and I guess also the CRTC and bell and *C.

My DTV dish is still up but hasn't been running for about 5 months now because I was never bothered to get my Hu card fixed. I'll keep it up there just to stick it in the thought police's faces when they try to tell me to take it down.

I'm glad I still have my copy of the Charter. When they come to take it down, I'll show it to them. Not like it would matter but hey, this is the New World Order.

Don't worry sir, you can be proud of you Dad, I am proud of mine too who died of war injuries and we WONT let them down. They would all roll over in their graves if they knew that we quit and did not give our all to maintain the freedoms that they gave their lives for. These AS BA S T A R D S wont get away with usurping our rights, rights that Canadians have had in common law since broadcasting began of receiving signals from the USA. It a right Canadians have always had and rights do not evaporate due to Satellite technology or any other event that is so outrageous as to deny us the right to buy a signal where ever we want. This is NOT CUBA and or the USSR of 25 years ago and Canadians cannot be rightly prohibited from "Freedom of Expression" which includes the right to express ourselves equally with the right to receive expression from WHEREVER it may interest us. The source does NOT matter and we were not put on this earth to listen to fat bureaucrats in Ottawa who think they can play GOD with what we watch on TV in a free society.
