With the Fight getting closer I thought that I would start a Poll.
This will be the toughest fight for Lewis but you can't help but wonder if Tyson should have had another Fight with a worthy contender before this biggie.
I think you already know who gets my vote.. :gg

Too often throws one punch at a time; temper.

I am unsure where this habit of Mikes was initiated, but Mike has been known to throw only one punch. He used to double up with jabs and follow up with a left hook to the body-left hook to the head. He admits he is looking for the combinations. But I think it is vital he gets out of this habit. He has to get back into the habit of throwing 3,4,5 or more punches at a time.

Mike is known to lose his rag! Holyfield fights, Botha and even out-of-the-ring tantrums wont do him any favours. What he needs to do is channel that aggression, and put it into his punches where it will be more respected by fans and the media, and even his ring record!

I think Lewis' height is a disadvantage against Tyson. He won't be able to control Mike as well as Holyfield did. Tyson will be quicker, but it will be a good fight if Tyson can hold his marbles together.

LOL! ;) If I were Lewis, I'd tape up my ears. Who knows; Mike may do something even crazier, like bite Lewis in the marble sack the way that Australian football player did to an opponent last week.  That'll leave a mark, and not just a physical one....

Tyson could be a winner, but he is his own worst enemy. I would have to pick Lewis, but I can't count Tyson out till the bout is over. He is just too unpredictable. Tyson had the world on a string, but he could not control himself.

Lewis by disqualifcation.

When it comes time for Mike Tyson to test, Lewis will put it to Rest! his exact words....Well actually he said "If he wants to test, I will put it to Rest" God I hope this is a long fight....I don't wanna get ripped out of $49.95...LOL as far as Ecm's If they smoke a legit sub oh well....(ya right)

I gotta say, Mike Tyson is the most entertaining boxer I've ever seen. Not in the same way as Ali, but a lot more unpredictable. Did anyone see the article at ESPN about his interview in Hawaii? He told a female reporter to shut up because he doesn't usually talk to women "unless they fornicate with him". So she needs to shut up, unless, you know...

That guy kills me. He said if Jesus were here today, I think he "would have a drink with me and discuss ... why you acting like that?" Mike didn't understand why the reporter was looking at him funny while he's talking about having some drinks with Jesus. His whole interview is a trip.

Tyson will win because Tyson/Lewis II will be a record breaking blockbuster if Tyson wins. If Lewis wins everyone will say Tyson is washed up and there will be no interest in a rematch. As much as I hate to admit it, boxing is one step away from "professional" wrestling.

Tyson is washed up. He hasn't faced anyone worthy since Holyfield. It's a shame he still gets this much attention. It's only because of his crazy antics in the ring and quotes like "i want to eat his children" that people are still interested in this loser. Lewis is gonna school Tyson just like he did David Tua.

I hate to tell you Tyson haters, but I will go out on a limb and say,

Tyson will spank that azz....

This is his last chance....He has no choice. He will do anything and everything to win this one.

And who ever said, Boxing is honest? Don't believe it. Boxing is mostly about the almighty $$$$$. Nothing more, nothing less.

Yes, Tyson may bite the ear. He may even headbutt. He may even elbow. He may even kick or knee Lewis, but in the end....

Tyson will win, the first one, that is.

I know that when Lewis went to Africa(stone cold I might add), he looked arrogant geewizz, but when he stepped back in the ring to fight Rachman the second time?, come on!!, Lewis more than justified his position as the Champion and I might also add, I havnt seen him run his mouth about Tyson and to tell the truth Tyson is a LUCKY DOGG to even get a chance to fight the man after his complete stupidity that exudes every time he tries to talk to a reporter! Who could be proud of A champion like Tyson except the Fat cats who sponge off him for the cash.
I hope Lewis beats him if not just for the sake of the sport.
I believe I could forgive Lewis for being a little arrogant, but when it comes to Tyson, I say a Knockout is too good for him! jmho

You make a good argument, but for me it's personal thing. Tyson comes across as an a'hole when in fornt of the media, but here's my Mike story:

Some years ago, at a studio in NY, Tupac suggested to Mike that he stay away from someone (a close friend of mine) because of that individual's questionable lifestyle (lot's of law enforcement interest in this person). Mike, much to his credit, defended our friend. After all, he was a buddy that neither wronged, nor leeched off of him. He stood by him, and in my book, that makes him a stand up guy. BTW, shortly after this, Tupac got "winged" exiting a studio in NYC. Go figure.

As for Lewis, well, as far as I'm concerend, his attitude is akin to Charles Barkley's during those Olympic games some years ago. An arrogant sob that deserves the asswhopping he's gonna get, if f****ng Mike can keep it together.

There is no way Tyson can win this fight! One way or another Lewis will win. Knockout, decision, or disqualification. This is not the 20 yr. old Tyson who was in great shape. This is not the Tyson that fights worthy opponents regularly. This is not the same guy who was heavyweight champion. Mike Tyson is not ready for a fight with a champion who is in the best shape of his life and has proved to the world he deserves the belt. Mike Tyson is an arrogant bully with no respect for anyone. He's a disgrace.

I agree Chevy, I keep hearing about Lewis's arrogance and it seems that the Tyson fans(I was one once) seem to think that Tyson's actions can somehow be justified?
I remember setting at a pool hall watching the second Holyfield-Tyson fight and to my horror seeing Tyson try to literally EAT HOLYFIELD!!
Right that moment I realized that Tyson was a danger to the roots of the sport we call boxing.
Lets look back at boxing history a moment shall we.
There were some real mean boxing champions in the past such as Rocky Marcianno, George Foreman, Jack Dempsey, and many more! Which one of these men felt the need to eat people!!
I hope that somehow Lewis can rid Boxing of this "disease" that has plagued the sport!

Did any of you see the Holyfield-Ruiz saga??
Ole Holyfield was head-buttin, elbowin, anything he could to bring blood on Ruiz!!
Holyfield would have done anyhting Don King wanted him to, But when it comes to our friend Tyson, HELL!, would anybody be surprised if Tyson comes out and just tries to kill Lewis??
I think Holyfield was in it for the money at the end and I hear that he's going to fight that Ruiz again/ Do you believe it?
I think Holyfield should retire but I dont think he will.

Magee promises to flatten Hatton

Eamonn Magee vowed to knock out WBU light-welterweight champion Ricky Hatton when the pair fight on June 1 in Manchester.

The Belfast man believes Hatton has been "protected" from testing himself against top-class opponents by promoter Frank Warren.

Magee said: "He's been knocking out blown-up lightweights and fighters past their best, but I'm at my peak and I've been around too many corners to lose to Hatton."

He added: "Hatton has been protected right throughout his career. Frank has done a brilliant job with him - the right fights at the right time.

"Even the referees jump in at the right time for him, but I'll expose Ricky for what he is.

"He keeps talking about wanting to fight the likes of Kostya Tszyu but you couldn't fight him after the fighters he has boxed up to now.''

Hey cell, If ya keep Hatton away from the likes of Don King he will be a great fighter but nobody as really tested Hatton's Chin as of yet...maybe Magee will..

I wasn't defending T because he likes (er, liked) Tupac. Actually, he ignored Tupac's advice about the company he keeps, and I considered him a stand up guy for doing so. The thing is, if Mike's in the ring, you know you into for (if not a good figth) and least an entertaining one. Everyone wants to see him fight, if just for his unpredictability(sp). I Used to really like Tyson's style, but when he decided to become a monster he completely destroyed himself along with his career.
Tyson knows and even admits that he can no longer be a real champion to the boxing world.
I hate to see an individual fall as far as Tyson has.
He is a man completely enslaved to his own Demons and cannot escape at any stretch of the imagination.
Even if he decides to walk in the ring and fight a clean fight and beat Lewis, sooner or later he will beat himself.
Its like King Solomon wrote in the Bible that destruction is surety for the fool.
I hope Tyson can have enough respect for the sport of Boxing and fight like a man and not a beast but who believes this will happen?
I hope for the sake of all the Tyson fans that he does this or he will definitely be washed up.
