After 2nd letter ??

Having received the second letter, what is next. I received first letter in Feb and 2nd in July. I haven't taken it to attorney yet, but surely plan to do so. I have never heard of a 3rd letter, but didn't know for sure. I am in SC. I did consult an attorney on first letter and he did't think much of it. Think this second one will prompt him to be more proactive. I know little about CA cases and I guess FL is still in progress. Has anyone had an attorney contact the Texas lawyers and NOT have to pay anything ? I have been reading here since first letter and the advice seems to have shifted from wait and see to contact attorney and settle. Have to admit I'm a little confused at this point, but agree doing nothing about the letters may not be the best way to go. Back to what is happening after the second letter, would that be currently just the CA and FL people who would know ? I think if no settlement or any contact a summons would be next when DTV starts proceeding in your state.

you just know got your second letter.. I always thought after you get the first letter the second arrives within a month.. But i already know two people that got the letter over a month and still haven't gotten the second one

I got the 1st letter around the middle of June, responed the next day by snail mail and got the second letter a week later.
I will be talking with my lawyers next week so we can be ready for whatever is next.

people sit tight and talk to a lawyer please. if he tells you to call them yourself find a good lawyer. all situations are different there is no set rule to follow, except talk to a lawyer not dtv's. they are looking for the fast settlements directly with end users's. consultations with lawyers are free. the one in florida will respond\or did to my email. if you have a letter and are on this site you should be in good shape. do not call them. ttrk is the best.
