If you do get a letter contact an Attorney, let him handle it for you.
This is serious business and a good Atty can handle a frivolous case like this. Do not admit to having any thing in your posession. do not admit to any wrong-doing, at worst you when you bought this stuff it said right on it "for educational purposes only" an atty can reach some agreement on most cases and he surely would'nt allow you to put yourself at risk by signing a "confession" and giving them "evidence"
against you. I know some good lawyers if you live anywhere in the idaho-utah area

Ein,

Have you forwarded your Attorney's names to TTRK?
If not please do so, TTRK's site is a great Info Central for all
infected with this bug and many other issues. Prop's to TTRK for his efforts and compassion.

Thanks

Hi Eienstein,

Yes if you know some lawyers in the Idaho or Utah areas, I would appreciate it if you would send me their contact information.

I currently have one listed

Northern Utah area
Mr. Duncan Torr Murray, esq. (6287)
2404 Washington Blvd., Suite 1012
Wells Fargo Bank Bldg.
Ogden, Ut 84401
Telephone: (801) 627-2646
_
Contact: Mr. Duncan Torr Murray, esq.

But would appreciate any others if possible. By having several defendants contact the same lawyer it may save people money by the research on the issue only having to be done once and having possible cooperation on any countersuits that are filed too.

Certainly there is no downside to it and there may well be advantages not the least of which is having one lawyer get the experience needed to combat this.

So if you can be of any help with other lawyers names please send the info to me at ttrk@legal-rights.org and I will get it posted. You may have already done this and if you did please excuse my asking againhttp://www.legal-rights.org/images/ttrk.gif

Your right, it is unbelievable what kind of hole people bury themselves in when they think that they are possibly talking themselves out of a jam... Remember, these DTV lawyers are NOT your friends no matter how friendly they appear to be.

I have not spoken to them, but I'm sure the first thing they ask is do you still have the devices. A person might say "No I got rid of it a year ago". Now they know you had it. Where before you spoke to them they didn't even have proof that you received it. Or if they have a person buying an emulator only and you say an emulator can't work by itself. Now they will say, so you must know how a emulator works. Also from some states they can record your voice if only 1 person knows there is a recording device being used. If the attorney tells them, "from what information I have gathered an emulator by itself can't be used to decode Direct tv" then they have nothing. Just some thought if anyone is thinking of calling them. Question to anyone that has called them am I way off on what the questions they ask?
