To The Real King!!

Hi Folks,
I received the standard Canadian Alliance propaganda today and sent them a letter back. I don't know how Canadian people here feel but its clear that it is the liberal Government who have supported the misinterpretation of the RC Act and who have been negligent in not making this old 1991 law clear, thus improperly finding many Canadians guilty of something the courts had ruled for YEARS was legal. This party cannot be voted for in the next election by anyone involved in Satellite in my opinion. But the crap from Alliance is not encouraging and I don't understand why they seem so reluctant to become involved and possibly get a large whack of people on their side, if they got on board. So there is what I received and here is what I answered. I wonder if many of us wrote them and urged them to get onto the issue if we could get them involved. Surely they could use the votes and I sure as HELL cannot vote liberal ever again. So if anyone wants to writ Alliance and urge them to get on board, here is what I sent in response to their usual political crap which is going nowhere.

Friends,
We are pleased to let you know that the Leaders office is busy working on
material to be distributed across the country over the coming months.
We will be focusing on the Liberals record of wasteful spending, their
dreadful lack of accountability and how Canada deserves better from their
government.
We will be putting forth positive alternatives and the Canadian Alliance
vision for a secure, just and prosperous nation.
On our website at http://www.canadianalliance.ca/brochures.html, you will
find several pieces of literature which has been or will be distributed
this summer, including:
- "Toward A Better Canada" is an introduction to our Leader, Stephen Harper.
- "Canada Deserves Better" outlines the many failures of the Liberals to
provide effective government for Canada and is highlighted by Stephen
Harper's vision for better government based on the principles and policies
of
the Canadian Alliance.
Please feel free to make as many copies of these brochures as you like for
your friends, neighbours, loved ones, co-workers, etc.
We will be sending you more information of the work we are doing in the
Leaders office to "get the message out".

There is currently a very contentious issue going on regarding Satellite TV and the government has tried to push through a wrongful interpretation of the RC Act which is affecting some 2 to 3 million Canadians. They lost in Windsor West precisely because of this issue and the fact that the NDP actually got in and said something.
If Alliance investigated this and realized just how wrongful the liberals are on this issue, then Alliance would get amazing support. But you seem to have a very inflexible stance on what you call “law and order” and so you will miss the boat with this issue. If you do not look into it in depth you will simply pass over it but Canadians across the country are supporting the “grey market” stance against the liberals outrageous stance. But it needs a solid look to realize what its all about. As a long time Reform and then Alliance supporter, you are on the verge of losing support among these Satellite people because you do not investigate and take up a stance.
While we cannot support the Liberals there is currently a movement underfoot towards the NDP party and this is a shame since Rahim Jaffer and Mr. Eric Lowther had investigated this and were becoming involved.
I do not believe the party has any idea just how much support will be lost by your inaction in this matter. All the standard things below are standard political fare and are excellent for the long haul but they wont get more Alliance members elected in the next election which I dare say a strong position on the Satellite issue could do. You may want to look into it because the standard wasteful spending stuff and Harpers vision just wont REALLY excite anyone. But Canadians are passionate about their TV and the undemocratic stance the liberals have adopted have turned many former liberal supporters against them. But you need a differing stance to make this a gain for Alliance and I fear you won’t bother to take the time and investigate the matter thoroughly enough. Time is short and Canadians are awaiting some evidence of an interest and position that is away from the standard political fare we have been fed for far too long.

I don't know if it will do any good but I would think that if they received a large amount of letters saying essentially that they should look into it for the support they COULD get, perhaps they will get involved. They sure wont go anywhere with the crap they are offering because who cares about Harpers views. They really don't count for squat at this point. But there could be a LOT of quickly gained support if they opened a debate on the Satellite issues in Parliament. I just cannot believe how politically UN astute they seem as they have promised to intervene many times now but have done nothing.
