Hi Folks,

I am really getting fed up with getting personal E-mail with doinks asking STUPID DUMB questions. Here is an E-mail I got tonight one of about 20 I get a day, most of them OK but somewhat unnecessary with many of them really needed and 100% OK. Most of you have read many posts on this site and my legal-rights.org web site.

What would you think if you got this E-mail


I just received my second letter from Greer, Herz and Adams. I am not sure what I should do at this point? ignore it? It is diffrent than the ones on your site. it starts

Then the entire letter talks about Direc TV vs. Me in the state if illinois. Should I just call the law frim and tell them I have no idea what they are talking about??? Or who should I contact? I do not have a trusted lawyer.

Now I know that these letters are ominous and bother people who feel alone and in danger from these outrageous letters. But is there ANY point to any of the questions this fellow asks. Do any of you know the answers???

Yes I blow my stack at this type of outrage. I do not mind helping but this is as ridiculous as it gets. Why not just ask me if there is a day and a night in 24 hours.

I am posting this not to denigrate the poor fellow who sent it but to TRY and get people to use their ----IN HEADS a little and keep to reality. Here is what I answered and I do hope some of you understand why.

If you ignore it they will get a default judgement for $10,000.00 per device plus legal costs of about $800.00. So that is what to expect if you ignore it. They will then garnish wages and seize assets to satisfy the judgement.

So its up to you what to decide but I don’t personally find that too appealing.

That has been said 100 times. Why do you need an individual E-mail when this has been said so damned often. Do you think all the posts are just for fun. That I spend 10 hours daily trying to help just for fun and that the advice is all a joke. That I made legal-rights.org for my entertainment??? Sorry but its really frustrating to have this asked again and waste time for nothing.

You are about to be zapped for 10 grand and you act like a child. Get a damn lawyer and protect yourself before they screw up your life good an proper. Are you an ostrich and think hiding your head in the sand will make it go away.?Geeze man GET SERIOUS!!!

Sorry for the anger but I get about 20 doinks a day asking what has been answered hundreds of times in posts and on the site. It does not matter what the damn letter says, the bottom line is they will get a default judgement (AND HAVE got many) against you. Look at the info in the court dockets and you will see that they have done this many times already to idiots who ignore it. They HOPE you do that because they have the rest of your life to collect and just when you think all is fine, they will pounce with a seizure. Its serious and do NOT waste time getting a lawyer or prepare for the worst.

I don't like getting annoyed because these people have already been put under enough duress by DirecTV® but S H I T , there is a limit to inane letters. I know people are frustrated but acting like you cannot read wont help your case. If people do not want to follow any advise, why the hell ask. These questions have all been answered hundreds of times by myself and many of the people who post here to help others. But in my mind, this is just a bit too much.

So what is the purpose of this post?

To please decide yourself what you should do but do NOT ask questions that have been answered HUNDREDS of times before. The answer WILL NOT CHANGE by some miracle because its asked in a private E-mail And the REASON that suggestions are POSTED IN PUBLIC is to avoid the need for private answers that are the same time and time again. Another couple of emails like this and I will go on a 6 month vacation. I don't mind helping where I can folks, but please do NOT take advantage of my good nature because it will quickly not become so GOOD.

As you know I dont post much. However I do READ A TON! So, dont you dare make any excuses for these idiots because they are under "duress". You have been under more than all of us COMBINED and it just shows your character when you still take the time to even respond to these bafoons. All they need to do is read, but they are too lazy to do it and figure writing you a 4 minute e-mail, then you can spend your time to help them, will allow them to get back to their video games while waiting for your response. I call them sheep and sheep get slaughtered. While I appreciate your help that you had given me, I believe a line should be drawn because I see the same questions over and over again. I thank you for you taking your time to all of us, we dont deserve it.
But, please dont put yourself out with these clowns, they dont represent us.

Yeah, this is the annoying thing. Just read the Sticky messages and you have 90% of what is going on and the best thinking on the subject. But even that is too much work for the Free-TV crowd that is under attack.

What puzzles me is this. They *MUST* have done enough reading to figure out that TTRK is one of the key minds on this topic. So, how is it they have not read enough to know the answers.?

I read this forum 2 or 3 times a day. It is so interesting. I don't even have a need from the legel perspective. I've never ordered any hardware ever. But that does not stop me from reading each and every post!

I can't wait until TTRK posts the details on the various traps that have been set in hope of cutting these mail-order lawyers off at the knees!

Well from the guys email, I would say he just read that part that said email ttrk@legal-rights.org and that would be it.

I mean if I was issued a certified letter stating I was currently being sued, my lawyer would be the first & second call.

Did he say he got the second letter which is a mock legal document or did he get summoned?

Because he is only going to get default if he fails to show for the court hearing.

The Summons has to be hand delivered! It can't be mailed to you.
