Hi Ya'll doing,
Just a couple of general questions that I have that may help me or others.
1. Should freestanding (not attached to dish) multiswitches/RCA teresteral splitters be grounded?
2. If you have a dual LNB going to a 2x4 multiswith, 3 subbed IRDs but you are sending the signal out to 4 IRDs, will there be a great signal loss? Will you see freezing? Will there be any problems?
3. How often do IRDs go bad?
4. How often do LNBs go bad?
5. Is it better to run a single RG6 for each IRD(Sat&Cable/Ant) or Is using a combiner/splitter(diplexers)a better way to go? Are there any problems that may be incountered?
6. Is using a A/B switch when testing multiple IRD at the same location ok?
Just a few ?????
