I really can not see anyone agreeing to send in the unit to DTV with their admission of guilt. No matter what DTV says or the deal they make it will not stop the DA from being able to then lay criminal charges against you. This is a kin to jumping from the frying pan into the fire, type of situation. I do not thionk you will see any movement on this front though until DTV has pretty much completed their attack on the end users, as that would only make people realize this is not a good thing. There has to be a better way to do this and yes I believe DTV will give into this, as I really can not see a lawyer who is protecting you, allowing this in any way shape or form.
If you feel that you need to do this to make a settlement, be sure you are not handing these guys a complete admission of criminal actions on your part. Remember DTV can not give you immunity froom criminal actions. They do not have that ability. Ber careful of what you agree to and above all, if you have any questions, ask a lawyer. This site and forum, may well give you answers that you may want to hear, but they also may not be true to the cause and affect, of the realities of your case. Again, seek a lawyer before you do anything that will incriminate you.

From the communications I have had with them they don't seem to care if you send it in or not. They just want to sign their agreement saying you don't have any or you have sent them in. They seem to just want there money. Its all about money. There agreement also keeps you from ever suing them over anything and allows them to breach it if you don't pay your bill. Like anyone who does settle with them would ever subscribe again. Anyone that sends them anything is stupid. Their agreement is already bad why make it better for them.
