I think a bunch of people should pitch in and donate to someone so
they could publish an article in the wall street journal about
Daves attacks on people who bought equipment or how they are on some
so called list and they are extorting money off people, that would defintly hurt them in the long run.
Let alone give us some publicity.
Maybe someone could launch an investigation against them. They have to be breaking some sort of Law accusing people even with subscriptions of stealing.
I Think it is kinda biased how only certain judges are judging these cases,I would say definatly Dave has some of these judges in there pockets...
An add can be placed in the Wall Street Journal,Someone should call and see what a full page add would cost.
People could vent and the publicity definatly would hurt Dave in the long run,Alot of people read that Paper Also.I got that Idea off of
Fox news the other night.Freedom of Speech can work in many ways.

an anti directv ad campaign would be interesting ... keep in mind that you can be held for liable/slander, so you need to be careful of what you say.

Take direct quotes that they made in trials and that their lawyers made in trials that make them look bad would be one thing. or state in the ad that this is an opinion and not fact.

something like :
DIRECTV SUES ITS OWN CUSTOMERS.
Directv via (insert lawfirm name) is sueing its own customers because the customers purchased smartcard readers, the very same smart card readers that you use for (insert list of ligitimate uses here). these are the same card readers that Dell and many other computer manufacturers are starting to incorporate into their keyboards. Buyer Beware that if you Get satellite service from Directv you could be a target for a frivilous lawsuit from Directv.
maybe sometime in the future this is how their customer service will be answering the phones: " Hello this is Mimi with directv, when can i schedule your court date."

You have the freedom of speech to say what you want, just like they have the freedom to sue your a$s for it later.

At work, we use the PR Newswire service for posting press releases about our company. Often times our press releases end up in local, regional, or national papers or magazines. It's up to the papers if they want to peel something off from the service and print it. It's been a cheap way to get our company name and products out there. I suppose it could also be used for negative publicity...

I would contribute.

There's another thread seeking a "spokesperson" of sorts for our cause. Of course this person has to be squeaky clean and/or willing to stand up to Dave publicly. There's already talk of a donation fund for his/her legal batle so...

This person could also then send out this ad/press release.
