Hello group,
I am also one to receive one of those letters that DTV sent out. I am also a long-time paid subscriber of DTV and heard of many other paid subscribers getting this letter as well. When I received the letter, I thought "Wow" what a way for them to treat paying customers.
Well, this is what every paying customer should do, "Voice your Opinion" We still have our freedom of speech, so let's use it, to fight back!
There are many ways in doing this; Here are some...
1) go to: http://www.hughes.com/home/default.xml
and go to their Voice your support link. Explain on there about the legal letter situation, being a paid customer and your views on DTV.
2) Go to Ragingbull at; http://ragingbull.lycos.com/mboard/boards.cgi?board=RB%3AGMH
Let all the stockholders know all about their unethical tactics and false accusations.
3) Media coverage, Radio talk shows, TV news, Internet news groups, etc... Anyway to get the word out.
These are just some ideas, if enough people do this, the word will get out out and they will realize they made a serious mistake accusing their customers of stealing.
