Been reading this and it's confusing me the more I read. I got an oval dish with 2 lnb that's not in used. Can i point this somewhere and get the OTA signals? I'm guessing not. So my other choice would be to buy and OTA antenna. Read about winegard and channelMaster. I'm only a few mile (15max) from the stations so a strong antenna is probably not that important. Is there one I can use for indoor or attic? Please offer model numbers of the ones you're using and the quality.

You can not get OTA with your dish lnb's.
The Ant you will need depends on where you live (terrain), what is being broadcast, and how far away you are. So no one here can suggest what you should buy or use.
Where I live I get a station (FOX) with an indoor Terk TV55. I can get nothing else even if I do put a nice big directional ant outside.
Good Luck.

I use my old roof antenna that I used for locals before DAVE had my locals.
