I'm tired of this popups windows

I'm tired of surfing the net and having all of those ads pop up, is there any software I could use to stop these, thanks in advance for the info

Pop up stopper from panicware and webwasher both do a good job of keeping those things away. You can also use the Opera browser which has settings to prevent them.

I've used Pop-Up Stopper for about a year and it works great. Every time a pop-up window trys to come up on the screen, you get an chirp through your speakers. It's amazing how many times that it occurs. If you need to have a pop-up window come up, you press the control key and it allows a new window to pop up once.

The best part is that this program is freeware.

if you have a broadband connection, also try zone alarm pro as your firewall...it has a programmable popup stopper built in
