Legal to record movies/PPV's??

Does the DMCA "outlaw" recording of movies and ppv's?? If so, is it legal for dave to provide (and charge $$) for ultimate TV whose sole purpose is to record broadcasts?? just wondering...

Personal use of recorded movies is ok. You can not sell it, charge overs for it, or even give to others.
