Hey All,

I have a Sony HD100 that I use for DTV and HD. When I scan my local channels for HD I get about 4-6 channels but they never give me any guide info. On every single channel is says info not available. Is this what everyone gets??? Or am I doing something wrong?

same here. from what I understand the HD100 being their 1st missed a lot of nice to haves. A couple other things you wont like in addition to the lack of OTA program info are the way they do categories and how slow the guides are. Try searching for hockey or racing under categories. Its awful. 2 of my buddies just got the HD200 and its fantastic. It tells you whats on the OTA, Cable and SAT broadcast on the guide (provided the source is broadcasting it) My biggest problem w/ OTA is too many mature trees near my home. I lost the ability to rope in SAT B signal when all the leaves came in. SAT A&C signals are strong. For OTA I need to get a rotator.

If they made a rotor that could be controlled directly through the coax with diplexers.

I know it's possible to control pan/tilt/zoom on CCTV systems through the same wire coax as the one being used by the camera.

Anybody?

There is no reason why SOny could not send an update to the ird so it gives the info. Saying Info not avail all the time is absolutely rediculous. Who thought of that great engineering breakthrough?

i've been advised by satelite companies that its now the receiver having probs but the digital broadcasters are constantly going on and off the air due to tech difficulties
