yup, it does work, you just have to slide the LNB and tilt it till you find the highest signal, what i did was aim it 110 using the standard Lnb, once peaked, i attached the 119 LNB slighty above and to the right (as looking at the front of the dish) and adjusted for strengh...

i must point out, however, that even though tecnically this did work, that it was extremely suseptable to rain fade.. remember, a true dish 500 has more surface area for reflection...
