How much money is the RCMP spending on satellite dealer raids?
They say they will not go after the end user because they do not have the money of resources.
The Winnipeg raid recently was said to have been a five month operation. How many officers were involved? Shall we guess on the low side and say 10.
10 officers @ approx. $5,500 a month = $55,000 a month
55,000 X 5 = $275,000
add in the usual expenses and you are probably looking at .5 million.
Now that they have also made a raid in Montreal, where they sent the officers for "training" first. How much is this going to cost?
With the RCMP crying about not having enough man power or money to do their jobs properly. How can they possible waste this type of money and man power to do BEV/*C/DTV's bidding?
I'm sure the public would love to know how much money is being wasted on this, when their are far more urgent crimes and criminals to be taken care of. Take the tainted blood scandal for example. They never even investigated that.
So, what is the government and the RCMP telling us? THAT BIG BUSINESS IS MORE IMPORTANT TO THEM THAN HUMAN LIFE?
