I've been marinating my turkey for 2 days, and I'll smoke it for 12 hours early next morning. I'm sooo ready to feast it's not even funny!

Since "the gang" hangs out here, I figured I would post this here for us to see...

Akmed came to the United States from Afghanistan, and he was only here a few months when he became very ill. He went to doctor after doctor, but none of them could help him.
Finally, he went to an Arab doctor. The doctor said, "Take dees bocket, go into de odder room, poop in de bocket, pee on de poop, and den put your head down over de bocket and breathe in de fumes for ten minutes."
Akmed took the bucket, went into the other room, pooped in the bucket, peed on the poop, bent over and breathed in the fumes for ten minutes.
Coming back to the doctor he said, "It worked. I feel terrific! What was wrong with me?"
The doctor said, "You were homesick."

Well, Thanksgiving is over!

The friends that would not leave finally left. The crazy family who should have never been invited are gone. The TV is all mine again!

Remind me again, what is Thanksgiving for? Oh, I know! To give thanks that you only have to see your crazy relatives once a year at the holidays.

On a serious note, I am still feeling the after effects of last night's dinner. We had a feast.. huge turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, tons of gravy, fresh veggies (green and orange), cranberry stuff, bread, soup, etc..

Pecan pie, apple pie, ice cream, cup cakes for dessert.

I have to go eat breakfast now.
