* choice dish help

I have an elliptical star choice dish 1 1/2 years old and cannot get a dtv signal although my dtv dish right beside it has a signal (week signal - hence the bigger dish) but I cannot get it locked on to the 101 bird - even tried changing lnb ends to a dtv and still no signal - this may sound stupid --- but the dish is plastic and dtv is metal ? but at this this point I'll try anything. Any one know if there is a post on this anywhere.All ideas are welcome

I believe that there are several members who have used the Star Choice dish for DTV. I think you have to use the LNB from the DTV dish however. Do a search on StarChoice or oval dish and you'll probably find a thread that will help.
