I have an oval dish with dual lnb's my,problem is that i can get the 101 in at 91 but I cannot get the 119 in at all . As far as I know i have done everything right. Do I need a triple lnb or is there a little trick to this ? any help would be great .

I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM. YOU HAVE TO MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE CORRECT ROTATION AND TILT. ON YOUR SAT SETUP MENU GO TO DISH SETUP AND TYPE IN YOU ZIP. THIS WILL GIVE YOU THE TILT AND ROTATION. DO THIS FIRST THEN TRY. ONCE I DID THIS I GOT MY SIGNAL ON THE 101 BIRD AND WHEN I WENT TO CHECK SATB(110) WALA....! HOPE THIS HELPS.

Your mast must be level, and sturdy, and like PIZZAS1 said you need your exact Azimuth, Elevation, Tilt. You probleby just need to turn your dish to the west a little, Slowly turn it to the west until you pick up the 119 bird. Are there any trees or buildings in the way?

There are few branches , but wouldn't that mean that the 101 wouldn't work either ? Anyways I am still trying .

So you entered your zip code, for a 2 lnb oval dish and the numbers were? What Dish do you have, what kind of multiswitch do you have, do you have both cables from each lnb, 4 total hooked up correctly to your multiswitch.

I have a directv oval dish with a 4 x 4 multiswitch and all 4 cables are hooked up properly . All the cables and both lnb are working fine because i can get the 101 with all of them . I am going to trim a few branches tonight and hopefully this works .

first off a dual lnd dish can only get either the 101 bird and the 110 bird or the 110 and the 119. you can not get the 101 and the 119 with only two lnd dish. why? because the lnb's have a 9 degree seperation. if you want the 119 you need the 3 lnb dish. hope this helps!

What? He has a Oval 2 lnb dish, which means he can only pick up the sat A 101 bird, and the sat B 119 bird, in order to pick up sat C 110 he needs the sat C kit, which is a special single lnb that combines with the 119. You do not need a 3 lnb dish to receive the 101 and 119 birds, a 2 lnb dish will work.

If you do not know what you are talking about, do not give bad advice.

The DTV oval dish has space for 3 lnb's. For 101 and 119, you mount the lnb at end and leave the middle one free. A special C goes in the middle slot for 110.

Do not forget that the lnb are mirror image so, that the 101 is on west side and the 119 is the east side on the mounting arm.

I had the same problem, about drove me nuts. Finally called anntena service. The problem was programing the receiver. Take you receiver book and make sure you go through all the setup procedures. Cost me 50 bucks. Receiver has to update to allow sat 119 to come in.

Nope. Trees are a big blob of water between you and the Sat. Since they are 18 degrees apart in the sky you can have a tree block the 119 sat and still see the 101 sat.

I hav e afew brances in the way of my 119 sat. in the summer the signal strength jitters between 80 and 86. Wintertime with no leaves, it is solid at 86 to 87
