toshiba dst3000 versus hughes e86??????

I want to purchase a HD receiver..im leaning towards the hughes e86 or toshiba dst3000??Which is the better unit??Which generates less heat?pulls the guides up the fastest?faster prcessor?works best with local hd??Any help would be appreciated...

You could probably search this forum and find answers to those questions. But from my understanding, the guts of the two IRDs are the same. They are both made my Hughes. I would assume that the processors are the same, the speed would be comparable. One difference that I know of is that the e86 has an RF remote, the Tosh does not.
