LCD tvs and HD receivers

I have an LCD 45 inch wide screen TV and I have an older sony sat receiver and I am thinking about upgrading my receiver so to HDTV the probblem is I dont know if I have to get a new dish as that old to came with the sony receiver as a bundle anyone here know what the best receiver for LCD tvs

It depends if you are testing with an hu card or using subbed p4.all of the new hdtv receivers that come with dvi hd output can only use p4 cards. the best receiver that can use both hu and p4 is the hughes e86. also you have to have a oval 3lnb dish to get all the hd channels. e86 with work well with lcd only if you tv has colorstream hd inputs. if it only have dvi hd input and want to test with hu card you screwed for hd.
