am i wrong in thinking you can use an echostar dish pointed at 119 to receive the hi def feeds from dtv??? if someone has one of these pointed please let me know if this can be done or it requires the tilted oval dish with two feeds...i already have one pointed at 101 dtv

I know you can use multiple round dishes to replace the eliptical. Of course you have to use the DTV LNB instead of the ES.

And to combine dishes you have to have a 4x4 multiswitch. An A/B will eventually burn out your IRD.

i have the four input and one output splitter with 2 13v ins and 2 18v ins...i believe i have to have dual feeds going into each for sat a and sat b...i thought the lnbs from dtv and echo were the same????
