Customs!

I had someone send me a package from canada. It contained 4 sony recievers and a certified check. I got the package and it had been opened by customs, and the check was missing. Has anyone had something like this happen before. I'm pretty sure that he put the check in there because he sent me a picture of it.

Customs does check packages and I personally never heard of missing parts.


Not sure why someone needed to send you a picture of it and can could conclude maybe you were setup. ?


You should have whoever put a stop paymnt on the check and send you another one unless whoever can show it was deposited.

that's what he did. I should be getting the new one soon. He emailed me a picture to show that he actually purchased and sent it. Everything looks on the up and up from the senders side but the check just didn't get here, and the box was tore all to hell by customs and everything was just throw back in the box.
