To receive High Definition broadcasts do you have to sub to dtv or will a test card get them too. Where is the cheapest place to buy a Hughes E86 receiver? Thanks.

If you are testing (or subbing for that matter) you can get:
HDNET ch#199
HDPPV ch#198
HBOHD ch#509
SHOHD ch#543
and using your over the air antenna, the local channels in your area that are HD (there are no HD locals from the sat).

Look for an open box at any of the electronic stores in your area (200 - 300) the Hughes E86, and the Mitsubishi HDSR-5, and the Toshiba 3000 are all the same unit, take what you can find, new they should be 479 - 499.
