P4 Only Equiment

I am looking to purchase a HD receiver and I have found that the new Sony HD-200 only works with a P4 card. Is this a trend with all new receivers and is there a source where I can determine which sytems will still take an HU card:)

Why would a manufacturer produce a product that would work with a card that is no longer sent out/subscribed (as new)prior to the release of said product?
So, yes, I would think that that is exactly the trend...
Go find a Hughes made IRD (Hughes E86, Toshiba 3000, or Mitsubishi SR-5) and you will be fine.
