I am being bombarded with emails, and I really don't mind helping out, but I thougt it would be faster to just post answers to your questions here and give you my attorney contact info:

I live in Charleston, SC

Our suit named several defendants all together in one case number.

The case # is 2 02 3041 18 filed in the U.S. District Court, Charleston Division. There are several defendants listed and I am one of them.

I received my summons in August, 2002.

I paid my attorney a $1000 retainer, which I fully expect to get back. (That's better than $4500!!)

My attorney is working with several attorneys across the U.S. and they are all filing the same motions and complaints.

Dave ALLEGES that I bought 2 boot loaders from a web based supplier and that I used those devices to steal Dave's signal.

The laws that Dave is trying to sue me under are for CRIMINAL purposes and not CIVIL purposes. The suit was filed in a civil court because the U.S. District Attorney would not file the case in his criminal court.

At the first hearing on the charge of purchase and possession of illegal devices, Dave's attorneys moved that the charges be dismissed for lack of evidence (they had no proof of purchase)

The second charge of signal theft will go before a judge very soon and Dave must then prove that I stole his signal.

My attorney welcomes your calls and emails. If you do not live in S.C., he will try to refer you to an attorney in your state who is a member of his group.

CONTACT INFO: CHRIS MURPHY AT STUCKEY LAW FIRM, 123 MEETING STREET, CHARLESTON, SC 29407 843-577-9323 OR EMAIL HIM AT CLMURPHY@STUCKEYLAW.COM

Hope this info answers your questions and helps you out!!!

Great, let's rip on the attorney that's showing some results because he's less expensive.

I believe the refrence was to a TV show called ED, in which the main character runs his law practice out of a bowling alley that he owns. The name of the bowling alley is Stucky bowl. By the way ED wins most of his cases.

There are no bowling alleys on Meeting Street in beautiful downtown Charleston and my attorney's firm is one of the most prestigous firms in town. If he can afford an office on Meeting Street he is certainly doing something very well! The only reason the retainer was so low is because he knew he had an open and shut case from the beginning and he is certainly not a fan of Dave's. Thanks for your support guys! I WILL keep you posted.
