I have a hughes e86 ird. I do not have a HD tv yet. I have a computer moniter that has only a VGA in jack. Can I get an adapter to go from ird Y Pr Pb rca output jacks to VGA input on my PV moniter? Where can I get such an adapter and what is it called? All output from E86 HD is 1080i.

the E86 has a DB15 connecter on it also. no need for an adaptor. I don't know that a computer monitor works on this connection but give it a try

I've never seen a DB15 connector on any E86 receiver.

Is this something new?

OK your right! There is no DB15 on the reciever. I was confused this morning. The next generation of HDTV recievers will have this connecter. My Philips HDTV has this connector. I seperated my shoulder yesterday and the painkillers got me a little fuzzy on that LOL

thats not db15, its DVI, and it will not work for you
