Damn... I shur do miss this place like the rest of us. It has been a very long time sence I have been here, and miss the old days. I like alot of others probbly spent years of my life reading this board. Nice to see some peeps are still around.

Thanks to all of the administrators and mods who kept this place going as long as it did, and still does.

Well I'm still alive too... and I decided to start a site back up...

Not TV related but actually it will be for computer gaming. I am including a forum for all my old Den / Freedom / Trailerpark / Shelter buddies to stop in and say hey... catch up on old time... etc.

My old mailing list is long gone, so I figured if our posts here still show our website link, then anyone who wants can come visit me. Be sure to register so you can play games in our online arcade. I am pacman champ by the way! I guess it was easy since I'm the first one to play it... lol. Good to see everyone. Hope you come by.

Actually it was last Dec. I had the surgery........... They say I should be good for another 10 years. See what DTV stress can do to a person................... :-(

Anyway, I was released on Christmas eve day, and was released back to work, (ha-ha) 2 months later. I would not wish that surgery on my worst enemy.......... For the first 5 days, I prayed to die. Being that as it may be............I am doing great, considering what I was the first of last Dec.

I have changed careers due to the stress, and its all good.

In all seriousness, I miss the days when folks would stop by and brainstorm new ideas and we'd have these marathon threads about how to possibly do the impossible (Like factor large unknown numbers and such).

Seems like there are no good challenges around anymore. Too bad that the other side had to get all F. Lee Bailey on everyone.

I've got a great design idea for a revolutionary lift system for airplanes.... would like to patent it and retire, any aeronautical engineers in the house want a side project?

Yep There are a lot of uses for em, & I guess there is some use of them in the UK to recover waste heat from furnaces, etc. Somewhere I have bookmarked a site where I guy builds them with woodburners to fire them, and he runs at like 150 PSI. Not too bad for homemade units. He's not really turning anything with them that I can see though . . . I Guess he builds them because he just likes to.
