Ink Cartridge was clogged.

Ok i'm just about fed up of all these remanufactured INK CARTRIDGES.
I bought 2 from Wally World after 3 days the black quit working,so I read somewhere that the nozzles on the head maybe clogged.
After searching the Net I tried several different methods to try to unclogg them. Then I came across the LexMark site and they actually make a TOOL that hooks up to the bottom and A syringe attaches so you can suck the INK out and unclogg the head.
I did'nt have this tool but I got one Big air Compressor,That gave me an idea.
Cranked up the compressor and drilled a small hole in the top of the cartridge and I blew through it with 160 lbs of air pressure.
Next thing i was covered in black Ink,the darn cartridge BLEW UP.
I figured if you can Suck it out you should be able to Blow it out
Ever tried getting Black Ink off your teeth ?
There gotta be an easier way.:Z

I do not have a spell checker.... I just know how to spell! ;)

I have a great source for ink cartridges.. I use them all of the time. I will give you the info next time we chat.

Shoot Vic I have a refill kit and my last 2 attempts to refill them have been disasterous..These are HP 842? black printer cartridges..I have NEVER had trouble refilling them before, but one leaked the whole time and the other still printed light...I have one more to refill and if that doesn't work I'm chucking the whole deal..

Anyone have the instructions on the generic refill kits? I used 3ml on the last one and it's not working(prints light) I cleaned it and test printed, dam maybe it was too dry when I filled it.

Hmmm....I once had one of those cartridges that consistantly left lines on the paper....I cleaned it out with #4 shot with my Ithica! ;)

Just buy a NEW ink cartridge, I tried refilling a cartridge, which then leaked and actually TRASHED the printer! So instead of just buying a new ink cartridge, I eventually had to buy a new ink cartridge as a last ditch attempt, which turned out to be a total waste of money since the printer no longer worked and then I had to just throw everything including the printer in the garbage!

So not only did I end up with ink all over my hands and the printer (which ruined it) but I wasted money on the refill kit, the new cartridge AND the printer!

I now march straight to the NEW ink cartridge aisle, thank you.

Ok but was it not you that told me that you typed everything that you posted in OUTLOOK EXPRESS and run the spell check then copied and pasted it HERE.:)
Hmmmmm and it's kinda funny I once got that E-MAIL from you that was the same thing you posted here.:)
Also I think you use a VOICE RECOGNITION (SPELLING) program because you was the first one to point out THAT feature TO ME in XP.:)
It's no big deal BRAIN ..we all need a little HELP from time to time... LOL

Look here Ink boy! Just becauze I is a good speler iz no reesin to pik on me. My gramer is no two good sumtymes, but at leest eye can put ink in a plastik contayner without geting any in my mouth.
