One important thing to note before going on is that Muslims detest pork because they believe pigs are filthy animals. Some of them simply refuse to eat it, while others won't even touch pigs at all, nor any of their by-products. To them, eating or touching a pig, its meat, its blood, etc., is to be instantly barred from paradise (and those 72 virgins) and doomed to hell.

Just before World War I, there were a number of terrorist attacks on the United States forces in the Philippines by, you guessed it, Muslim extremists. So General Pershing captured 50 of the terrorists and had them tied to posts execution style. He then had his men bring in two pigs and slaughter them in front of, the now horrified terrorists.

The soldiers then soaked their bullets in the pigs' blood and proceeded to execute 49 of the terrorists by firing squad. The soldiers then dug a big hole, dumped in the terrorists' bodies and covered them in pig blood, entrails, etc.

They then let the 50th man go. And for the next forty-two years, there was not a single Muslim extremist attack anywhere in the world.

ok so ur saying we should execute them like pigs.... i like the idea but lets take it a step further lets let them loose in the us prison system so they can all meet bubba first hand.

No, the point of the article is to let Muslim terrorists assume that if they are caught, they will be defiled with pig blood and entrails during their deaths (and at their burial) so there is no way they would get into Paradise at their death.

Would it work? I dunno; seems like any muslim cleric worth his salt could convince these fanatics that since it's infidels doing the defiling, it wouldn't count against them.

I can see it now in modern warfare...the "cruise pig" or the "pigapault" or how about the "p-bomb":)

:K Hey wooah!!!
Do I detect some actual BUSH SUPPORT??
It's about time we seen these Middle East problems as an us against them situation.
One thing is for sure, that is EXACTLY the way they see it.
I say Go Bush, I think this latest arrest may just turn the tide and we will finally get rid of this phenomenon that we call Bin Laden.
It has been way too long coming seeing that this man has single-handedly ruined the world's economies by just the implication of his words.

P.S.-- As far as the pig blood goes, wrap em up in it and call em a pig in a blanket if you want to.

Attention!! "I only hate people who hate me"

The only thing these people will respond to is action. NO DIPLOMACY is going to do a damn thing. I am a BUSH SUPPORTER and the i will use nukes is a big deal, but i don't see it comming to that. You guys would not beleive the firepower we have in the middle east right now. (Excluding Nukes) My dad is over there right now and well he lives in a warehouse, and he is a helicopter pilot. We have been sending stuff over for so long now, most of it is actually in the gulf still being unloaded. It took them 3 weeks to get my dads helicopter from the ship to his base just because it had to wait at the docks. That said i don't see nukes being a viable option because it would be a PR nightmare. They would look at us just like we look at bin laden. The best way to get these guys is through MASSIVE CIA< and FBI Action using actual agents over there. Spec Ops is a great way to get in and gather intel. But otherwise we are gonna achomplish nothing as their network is in place and working. Without ground assests we would never find them with a million sats and phone taps. my two cents, only worth a canadian penny though

I actually posted the story on a whim because I thought it humorous. I wasn't expecting any responses, but as it seems to be generating some interest, I'll add my opinion.

After posting I decided to search the weeb to see if there was any truth to the story, and I came across an "Urban Legends" site that could neither prove nor disprove the storey. Their research let them to similar accounts attributed to different people and Pershing in the Philippines during that time frame on a similar vein. But no concrete evidence for or against was found.

But they did raise some interesting points as to its effectiveness. If the Enemy is truly dedicated, nothing we do or threaten to do will deter them, but if they value their beliefs and/or survival such tactics may work.

Me, I'd do it just out of spite.

I personally believe that anyone that doesnt support this war because they think that Bush is going over there to kill civilians has got to be nuts!
I believe that all the tensions brought on since September 11th
has caused the world to want to crawl under a rock and hide under the banner "NO WAR!!"
Bush knows that If Sadaam is taken out of power, then the terrorists will know we mean business and that we will be in their own back yard and in their face.

quaddawg has a right to his views and his opinions....
I dont think killing is right either but i do feel that it is sometimes a neccassary evil, in order to preserve a greater number of people and to serve the greater good... the decision to kill a man is probably one of the hardest things that someone has to do, this decision will live with that person for the rest of their lives...

sadly with every time you kill it gets easier and weighs less on your soul...

I believe that it is with a heavy heart that we go into iraq... we are only after the removal of saddam and his hinchmen but in the process we will likely kill innocents...

should we still go? yes.
