Got a letter from my mentor; and, he's not feeling that "great". So, that puts him, back on the top of my prayer list.
March 13th., 2003 he goes in for a "scan" and believes they might do some trimming to remove the tumour, depending on what it is attached to.
Please, pray for Reg..

With all your wisdom and compassion I ask that you please comfort the friends and family of TTRK. Let him rest in your strength. Guide the hands of the surgeons. Allow his surgical team to remain focused on the task at hand, his life, so that TTRK can remain here as one of yours.

Hi Gang,

I want to thank you all, personally and each and every one of you, for caring and for expressing your prayers for me. Its good to know that you have so many friends who care. I have to admit to being a little more worried than the past few times so I can use all the help I can get :)

As you all know I am NOT usually speechless (with the fingers) but with so many good wishes I almost don't know what to say except for THANKS and MANY THANKS AGAIN.

I can feel all the extra prayers down deep and I ask you to keep it up. I would really like to be here for a few more years anyhow an I feel like this is working and doing its job. Besides there is still a lot of work to do yet and a lot of cases to be won for many of you. And many more posts to make :)

ttrk there are many amazing new and old techs out there, just have faith.i know many people that have survived my sis is one and its very scary i will pray for you too. you are a good person and i have never met you but you can tell about people in how they responsed to people and i've read lots of your answers to others and my only advice is to stay positive and believe..

Hi Doug and everyone,

Thanks for the great support and prayers. Just wanted to say that yesterday they called and put my appointment off until next week. I usually go to the Royal Vic but apparently the Montreal General has installed some new equipment that will improve the resolution of the scans so they prefer to do that. I guess its because the whole issue depends on where this tumor is actually attached to me.

So hurry up and wait one more week To The Real King!! . But I guess this is really in my best interest so there is not much I can say.

TTRK, It took me awhile to respond to this post because i wanted to think of the right thing to say. I read here much, and have always enjoyed your long and very knowledgable post, and replies to questions. You were and are always willing to lend a hand and give help no matter what the questions were and for this we are all greatful. So now i think its time for the community to return the favor in any way we can. If there is anything i(we) could ever do please dont be shy ask away. Hi Guys,

Well Friday was the day but they still cannot decide if its cancer or just a scar on the pleura. For some reason its not too clear. I am sure hoping it just a scar and if it is then I am sure its because of all the extra prayers that you have kindly made for me.

I think they will have to go in with either a needle or with a small cut and remove some material for a biopsy. I dont look forward to that but its the only way they can be sure.

Anyhow there is some chance that its not my cancer returning and just an enlargement of a scar area and I should know sometime next week. I will post the info the moment I know.
