"Calfornia State Bar is acting to bar a Beverly Hills law firm from practicing in the state, saying they filed thousands of baseless lawsuits against small business owners, coercing them into paying thousands of dollars in settlement fees."
Somewhat paralleling the extortion practiced by Wilsdon and the other criminals, this firm filed suits against approximately 3000 small businesses that had been written up for minor business violations during routine state inspections. They then offered to drop the suits in exchange for money.
Apparently extortion is illegal in California!
