This is the interesting thing, if we were only there for oil, then we would be blasting them to the stone age. Do you realize what a few MOAB bombs would have done to the towns of iraq? But no we have not done that, we have systematically left towns intact, which by the way puts our supply lines in danger. However we have done exactly what we promised by heading for our target, Sadam and his regime. I am for one very impressed by our troops ability to move past the civilians and not level towns with artilery. Anyone ever seen the pictures of lebanon after artilery was used to pretty much level the towns and buildings? I am proud of our forces and think that we will face some stiff engagements soon due to the coalitions decision to limit civilian casualties and focus more on combatants.

Then, when it is all said and done - send the bill to France, Germany and Russia for not standing with the US, UK, Spain, Australia, etc. and showing a strong united worldwide force. This will cost many lives, all because of them!!

This whole thing is reminding me of a toothache. If you don't brush and care for your teeth they will get little holes where bacteria can get in and kill the tooth. Sometimes if you catch it early you can fill the tooth(drill still needed) and all is good (keep brushing though). If not the next best thing is a root canal with a crown on that to save the tooth..You can pray, vote, protest, cry, flame, think, complain, wait, hope, want to , not want to, look the other way all you want but that tooth is gonna get worse (and hurt like the ----ens)if you don't go to the dentist. It seems the Coalition's plan is to do a root canal on Iraq. Not just a simple filling but actualy take out the pulp/nerve (Saddams crew)then crown it with civil order. If this can't be done in the very near future other issues will come into play like gum problems and bone loss that will damage/infect other teeth. As for the innocent teeth however some of them may also need to be pulled even though they are healthy to stop the disease from spreading. This is not going to be painless or without blood flow but has to be done .

I too am very impressed with the patience of the Coalition forces so far. They are fighting clean and being very carfull to stay in bounds.. I don't think we have seen/heard the real *shock* yet. It's way to soon and their still setting the stage. You can bet when this is over you'll hear the world say "ahhh".

I am for this war simply because a ruler like Saddam has been proven to be dangerous to the entire world. Remember Lenin, Stalin, Hitler? Hussein fits right in with these guys. Iraq is a country being ruled by an entire regime of these type of people. The entire regime must be taken out of control. Just because some other countries are too afraid to do this doesn't mean the US doesn't have the right to do it. There is no "talking" to these kind of people so giving him more time will not and did not do any good. They only understand action taken against them. How quickly France forgets people like Hitler and those that saved France's behinds.

The world seems to think that if we just leave these countries alone that they will not attack us when all these countries eat drink and sleep is hatred for America or any of it's allies.
Anti-war protesters simply are ignorant of the fact that if you go and take out these propaganda-fueled Dictators that the people of these countriies will see the scales fall from their eyes(not all of them I might add) and see that they are being usd by their own Governments for gain at expense to them.
Anyone who SUPPORTS the war for liberation of Iraq must understand that Hussien and other leaders like him brainwash the people and make them no longer people, but subjects to their greed.
