Today it was reported that a severe earthquake has occurred in central
France. The severity was measured in excess of 10 on the Richter Scale.
The cause was the 56,681 dead American soldiers buried in French soil
rolling over in their graves.

According to the American Battle Monuments Commission there are 26,255
Yankee dead from World War I buried in 4 cemeteries in France. There
are 30,426 American dead from World War II buried in 6 cemeteries in
France. These 56,681 brave American heroes died in their youth to
liberate a country which is guilty of shameful unspeakable behavior in
the 21st century.

May the United States of America never forget their sacrifice as we
find ways to forcefully deal with the God-forsaken turn-coat country of
France!

PASS THIS AROUND! Maybe it will get to someone in France!!!

I don't know if this has been posted here already but I found it posted at other forums. I thought it was funny.

"France has neither winter nor summer nor morals. Apart from these drawbacks it is a fine country. France has usually been governed by prostitutes."
---Mark Twain

"I would rather have a German division in front of me than a French one behind me."
--- General George S. Patton

"Going to war without France is like going deer hunting without your accordion."
--Norman Schwartzkopf

"We can stand here like the French, or we can do something about it."
---- Marge Simpson

"As far as I'm concerned, war always means failure"
---Jacques Chirac; President of France

"As far as France is concerned, you're right."
---Rush Limbaugh,

"The only time France wants us to go to war is when the German Army is sitting in Paris sipping coffee."
--- Regis Philbin

"The French are a smallish, monkey-looking bunch and not dressed any better, on average, than the citizens of Baltimore. True, you can sit outside in Paris and drink little cups of coffee, but why this is more stylish than

sitting inside and drinking large glasses of whiskey I don't know."
--- P. J O'Rourke (1989)

"You know, the French remind me a little bit of an aging actress of the 1940s who was still trying to dine out on her looks but doesn't have the face for it."
---John McCain, U. S. Senator from Arizona

"You know why the French don't want to bomb Saddam Hussein? Because he hates America, he loves mistresses and wears a beret. He is French, people."
--Conan O'Brien

"I don't know why people are surprised that France won't help us get Saddam out of Iraq. After all, France wouldn't help us get the Germans out of France!"
---Jay Leno

"The last time the French asked for 'more proof' it came marching into Paris under a German flag."
--David Letterman

How many Frenchmen does it take to change a light bulb? One. He holds the bulb and all of Europe revolves around him.

Next time there's a war in Europe, the loser has to keep France!!!

I know how a lot feel about the French but it really is the sorry leaders that they have and may not be the views of a lot of the French people. In that respect I feel that maybe these threads should not get to personal in nature.
I am sure there a lot of French in the US and Canada that do not agree with what their leaders have done in this war.
Maybe when they are in NEED the next time, then it's time for the others to turn the other way, just like they have.
Folks it's not only the French that are against this war and we really are gonna have to remember this when all is said and done.:)

My post was meant as a joke. I do not dislike any country. I am sure every country has good people in it. I was trying to make fun of the people in charge of the government and the decisions they have made. We all know that every government makes decisions from time to time that are so ridiculous they are comical. That is how I feel about the French government. They just tend to make those decisions more than most.:D

The ability to disagree in something is in the brain, not in the heart, and is part of pure freedom.
In the heart french are grateful.
If france or any other free country does not agree with US,
there is no reason to be mad or to claim for anything.
thats their right! IMHO

We have every right to be angry with these nations. They signed the resolutions and now are backing out. The only reason they do not want us in Iraq is they have FINANCIAL INTERESTS in Sadam's regeme.

The French/Germans/... are free to say what they want, we are free to respond in any way we want. Freedom does not mean we have to support anyone, just as they are using their right not to support the US.
